Put ‘Lukautim Mama Graun’ into action: Nakano

THE Organisation for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement International (OISCA) president Dr Yoshiko Nakano has urged people of East New Britain to put the Lukautim Mama Graun concept to action.
Speaking during the 20th anniversary of OISCA Rabaul Eco-Tech training centre, she said this concept should be used to disseminate information to the young and old to work together and plant more trees.
Dr Yoshiko, who was the adopted daughter of the founder of OISCA International Dr Yonosuke Nakano, follows her father’s commitment to noble human objectives and was strongly motivated by his thinking and teachings.
She said today the world was facing rapid and serious environmental degradation and it was vital upon all adults to teach youth and children the importance of restoring and conserving the integrity of healthy eco-systems.
