Grace Memorial to get major boost

THE Grace Memorial Secondary School in Wau will be given a major boost with
the construction of a new double classroom.
And additional funding would be made available to complete its science
laboratory at next year.
This was announced by Bulolo MP Sam Basil while officiating at the school’s
second Grade 12 graduation last week.
He told the graduating students, parents, board members and visitors that
the district’s planning committee would incorporate the school’s development
into its five-year development plan to carry out the said developments.
Mr Basil said his goal was to allow the students to have access to better
learning facilities.
He was grateful to Harmony gold mine for initiating a new water supply
project for the school.
He said that he would provide funding for the school to have a reliable and
fresh water supply.
Mr Basil also vowed to build new classrooms for the new Baiyune High School.
Martha Wayang from Kwembu village in Wau and Leonard Hansutan from Tapini in
Central province took out the Grade 12 dux awards.
Markham MP Koni Iguan, who accompanied Mr Basil, commended Grace Memorial
Secondary School for allowing Markham students to be enrolled there. |
