FISHERMEN in Abau district in the Central province were presented with certificates after going through a two-week training on modern fishing methods.
The workshop was facilitated by two officers from National Fisheries College.
The purpose of the course was to train fishermen using modern fishing methods.
During the first week of the course, the fishermen went through the theoretical aspects of fishing while the second week concluded with the practical aspect.
