Bonga aims for impact projects

NAWAEB MP Timothy Bonga has planned K3 million worth of impact projects for his district covering law and order, education and health and infrastructure.
Mr Bonga said the projects would be funded from his K4 million allocated in the Government’s supplementary budget.
The money is being kept in a trust account by the Finance Department.
He said K1million each would be allocated to address law and order, education and health, infrastructure development and rehabilitation and the remaining K1 million to administration.
He said local contractors would be given the opportunity to carry out work. “They will be supervised to ensure they do the work as many local contractors don’t seem to be working,” Mr Bonga said.
The projects include constructing a ring-road in the timber and coffee rich district, upgrading of the Situm police station to a sub-station status, electrification of Situm, Nawaeb High School and Gobari village.
