Touch title for Kange Lawyers

THE star-studded Kange Lawyers, led by members of bronze medal-winning PNG Touch team, spoilt the party for Paraka Lawyers to win the inaugural Lawyers and Accountant Touch Footy Cup last Friday at Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.
Kange accounted for reigning champions Paraka Lawyers Team1 and then beat Paraka Lawyers Team2 in the final.
Paraka Lawyers Team1 scooped the third place award after beating Attorney General.
Kange in their uniform sponsored by AJ Micro Finance did not let their sponsor Labi Amaiu down as he turned up to support them in the final.
Kange Lawyers principal Felix Kange was the happiest man as his firm is only three months old.
“It’s a great feeling, and I thank my auxiliary staff for making a dream come true for this young law firm,” he said.
LOC chairman Kepson Pundu thanked the 28 teams for taking part in the tournament this year.
Pundu made a special mention to his employer, principal Paul Paraka of Paraka Lawyers for allowing his staff to organise the tournament.
Following tradition, Kange will host the next year’s challenge.
