TEAM Central has selected its athletic team for the PNG Games following their trials at Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby on Sunday.
Coach Jimmy Jacob and team manager Jamie Lopa made the final selection to represent Central province at the Games in Morobe.
Men’s team: Griffits Elvis, John Joseph, Israel Galawa, Max Max, Ani Ambrose, Lahui Tono, Benjamin Kepino, Cairo Mea, Michael Amo, Junior Noboi, Steven Alu, George Mauri, Daba Kila, George Nanai, Varo Varo and Tony Omohae.
Women’s team: Ruthy Sevau, Jenny Guu, Lani Kapa-Poiys, Dionysia Siri, Stephanie Aihi, Elvah Nakin Mary Isoaimo, Pauline Walongorr, Anna Eroap, Beatrice Nnko, Elizabeth John, Savina K, and Joanne Rikis.
The team will be camping at Mt Diamond High School before they depart for Morobe province.
