Lamana all ready to
host Tuesday punters
THE Gold Club has never failed to host the best Melbourne Cup
gigs and this year will be no exception. This is the time most view as a
chance to strike luck with the extra buck, and for those unsure about
hanging out at the local betting shops, the Gold Club provides you a safer,
more comfortable and convenient stop.
Why would you want to go anywhere else when the Gold Club will have three
bookmaker stations on the day to take your track bets, and the race playing
live on multiple televisions around the bar including three giant TV
screens.
This means that instead of being squashed in a hot little shed with the rest
of the punters, you can have the convenience of air conditioned comfort,
five serviced bars, tables and chairs to relax in, live coverage of the race
on multiple TVs.
What about food? The Palazzo will be offering the lunch time rush at K25 a
person with a minimum table of four. Due to limited seating however, ensure
you make a reservation or buy a ticket from Melinda at the hotel’s
reception. Due to the minimum table of four, get your friends to join you
and grab a table quick. For those wanting something less formal, The Gold
Club will have a scrumptious barbeque that starts at lunch and continues
through the evening, at only K20 per plate so set your taste buds free.
That’s not all, in Melbourne Cup tradition, we will have an upbeat and
trendy fashion show by eight gorgeous models on the Arena catwalk, with
outfits provided by PNG Tailoring. The last of the modeling will have the
hat parade, with the lady with the best hat winning gold jewelry, Cadbury
package and Jazlee Hair salon gift bag. This will be followed by “The Battle
of the Gold Club Sexes” in conjunction with Cadbury.
