Baffled by abrupt halt to projects

I WOULD like to commend the great work the current chairman of the Motu Koitabu council, Cr Opao Udia, is doing for his people.
I am confident the Motu Koitabu citizens will remember this when the LLGs go to the polls next year.
However, I would like Udia to explain why there has been a sudden stop to all projects in Motu Koitabu villages. It was hard enough when funding was just trickling to the villages, now there isn’t a single drop.
All cleaning projects, financial support for village activities, etc, have ceased altogether.
Your councillors are saying that the implementation of the new Motu Koitabu Assembly legislation has affected funding.
Is that exercise so costly that all other essential services to Motu Koitabu villages should stop?
Is it City Hall tightening the purse, or are the current councillors preparing for the elections?
I hope somebody can explain.
