IBS undefeated in NCD Corporate 9s

INSTITUTE of Business Studies (IBS) recorded its second win in the Corporate 9s rugby league competition held on Friday by hammering NCDC 20-4 at Lloyd Robson Oval in Port Moresby.
In the opening round, IBS sounded an early warning by thrashing PNG Fires Services 40-6.
Bank of PNG and Smart Bank Kundus came close in recording their second win but they ended up with a 10-10 draw.
Bank of PNG started the season with hefty scoreline 44-26 over Eda Ranu while Smart Bank Kundus downed Ravenpol Tigers 34-4.
Paul Paraka Lawyers (PPL) Giants led by Francis Pegu made up for their first loss to NCDC 16-8 by disconnecting Telikom PNG 20-8 last Friday night.
Tigers bounced back from the loss in the opening round to ground the Richard Wagambie-coached side Air Niugini 44-18, Tigers made their score sheet look nice when they beat Team Bishop Brothers 16-10, Eda Ranu ensured they have enough water to drown SP Brewery 18-8.
