A LOCALLY owned company had come to the aid of the host organising committee by donating K6,000 towards the hosting of the 3rd PNG Games in Lae on Nov 16-24.
PC and JY general manager Ben Woo handed over the money to the host organising committee chairman Joe Bau Maras at a small handover ceremony in Lae last Thursday.
“We are pleased to support Team Morobe and are willing to sponsor teams from Morobe who are qualified to take part in the 3rd PNG Games,” Woo said.
Morobe Administrator Manasupe Zurenuoc thanked PC & JY Woo for the sponsorship.
“Morobe Administration had fulfilled its commitment to sponsor the PNG Games in Lae and urges all the sporting teams from Lae and PNG to comply with the requirements to participate,” Zurenuoc said.
PNG Host Organising Committee chairman Joe Bau Maras thanked PC and JY Woo for its sponsorship and said they appreciate the sponsorship in cash and kind.
“I want to thank PC Woo for its continued support towards the local community and all the church, women’s, youth and sporting activities in Lae,” Maras said.
