Malau queried over K350m

HEALTH Secretary Dr Clement Malau yesterday appeared briefly before the Public Accounts Committee.

“Every one in this country knows the deteriorating state of our hospitals and the inability to maintain aid posts, clinics and thousands of local employees of the department,” he said.
“Huge amounts of money are allocated to health but on every statistics this country has deteriorated in health delivery performance over the last 20 years.
“We will publish the terms and references soon to invite interested members of the public to make submissions and be heard by this committee.”
