What is it? That word
Forgive and forget?
or you again I will never hurt?
So often it's said
and so often it's meant
But we say it too much
the meaning is spent
it probably means to let everything be
Maybe then through broken pride
We'll realise the true meaning of
I'm sorry to a great degree

Traveling down memory's lane
Life was not this wane

To erase all the worries

How cruel life can be

I continue to miss home

This crazy world driving me mad

The bride is preparing
She bathes in
Anointed oil

The tambourines are
Distant and faint
They make music
She rubs her arm and smiles

They cover in garments, robes, and veil

She had looks to kill
Surely she was beautiful
Physically
But she doesn't care
It doesn't interest her

It's quite rare for a girl like her
Because she's strong
Affairs of the heart
the head and
the soul interests her
it intrigues her

She knows what she wants to do
And know its right when she knows it

She listens to her gut
That's how different she is
She's a fighter indeed

Looks mean nothing
Character is something
