WHILE everyone was enjoying themselves watching the games and teams taking participating in their various events PNG Games events manager Napolean Kaemala and volunteers – most officers of the provincial disaster officer – had been very busy sorting out official games bags and shirts for teams.
Some teams had yet to receive their shirts.
The National caught the hard working staff at the provincial disaster office yesterday afternoon sorting out shirts for Team West New Britain and Team Bougainville.

The team was working flat out yesterday because today the provincial disaster centre and its staff, many of them volunteers, will concentrate on getting relief supplies to Oro province where flood waters have ravaged the province, taking lives, and destroying homes and food gardens and safe drinking water.
