Touch football elects new office bearers

PAPUA New Guinea Touch Football Federation has elected its new office bearers for the next two years.
The founding president of PNGTFA Joe Yore was elected as new president while Ms Monica Paul as his deputy.
Yore is not stranger and his commonly known as Mr Touch and is the current president of POM Corporate Touch
Ms Paul is the current president of Central Touch Association – a sister association to Port Moresby and the Corporate Touch in National Capital District.
Sevese Lae was elected as executive director replacing Lucy Emboge while John Melvin won the Finance Director’s job.
The Touch Federation has also reconfirmed Rick Seeto of Lae as National Coaching and Development Officer. His main responsibilities are to provide regulard coaching workshop, arrange national and international fixture to promote the game
Touch Federation for the first time has appointed an overseas liaison officer in Brisbane-based Tom Adamson.
Adamson has 20 years of experience in touch and rugby league.
His major task would be the link between TFPNG and the Australian affiliates.
Adamson is part PNG and Australia.
In line with new calendar events penned for 2008 season, the affiliation fee of K500 is now due and payable to Touch Federation before Feb 28, 2008.
