TOMORROW will see who will be crowned the champion is for the semi-professional table tennis competition when teams converge at the Koroboro international school hall.
The competition will start off with the semi-finals before introducing the two top teams for the grand final later in the evening.
The A grade semi final will see Koroboro Cowboys against Pool B first place Cadets, while Chinese Medics meets pool A top gun Lakwaharu.
In the ladies Open, Samoa Rageís Feina Broncos are up against Gima Taviri and Vui Polumeís NTIL Veterans while Lakwaharu Wonders face up to NTIL Hekaz.
Menís B, Lalo Traders to side NTIL Goralatana while Thunderspin from Hanuabada are on standby to play the winner.
In the junior division, IEA Dere will play TK Turas Gold, NTIL Kavari are set to take on Taora & Gunina.
The Port Moresby Table Tennis Association (PMTTA) this year introduced the semi-professional competition which attracted a good number of players from the international community here in the city.
Some of the teams included players from the Chinese Embassy, Indonesian Embassy who fielded in five teams respectively.
According to PMTTA, the concept of the competition was to revive table tennis in Port Moresby.
From the competition a selection will be done for elite group of kids preparing them for the coming mini SP Games and SP Games in the Cook Islands (2009) and New Caledonia (2011) respectively.
