Telikom not living up to slogan

THE requirements were stringent. I was asked for copies of my ID card, letter of employment, pay slip, tenancy agreement with landlord, electricity (EasyPay) bill receipt, and contact details.
“You are the first client to have met all these requirements … very good,” the lady who served me said. “We will call you soon to give you your job card number.”
I paid K120 as fee for this anticipated service and walked home proudly thinking that I gave business to a 100% nationally-owned company, our very own company that “through good and bad times, it is always with us”.
That was on Sept 26, two months ago in the Telikom Boroko customer services office. Up to now, the job is not done and I have not been contacted as promised.

Very disappointed
