Overlooking the Land of the Unexpected
A velvet mushroom
Umbrella over the wealth of a fugitive

One-night stand
On the needles of Paiam -rocks
A balcony of love
No tears of nature, tonight

The field-breakers
Riding on your wings
To bid you farewell
Across the pastures of Waghi

Take a breather
The night over
At Kagamuga lodge
Speaking politics the Engan way

Return with joy
To your haus-lain
To your Ipili
Loves your tears of joy
Every evening

You have a reason,
a purpose

I live a life
Wondering and pondering
I live each day
Eating and sleeping
I lived days ago
Working and earning

Foolish friend

You only see what you want to see
You only believe what you know
You can not accept novelty
You can never do as you are told

When I spoke my mind
You heard every word
But in no time
They hit the dirt

You can not listen
You are easily deceived
And when all is not well
You seek my sympathy

I only see what is and what was
I can see where you're headed
I know what's the cause
I remember what you stated

When you spoke
I know you lied
But for your sake
I let it slip bu

I know not why I try
Even now I'm mystified
That I still lend a hand
To help a foolish friend
