Chinese duo deny breaching immigration laws

TWO Chinese nationals denied breaching PNG’s immigration laws in the Goroka District Court yesterday.
Jin Lin Hui, 32, was ordered to stand trial next Feb 15 and Zheng Donghua, 21, next March 28.
Both men were allowed bail.
Zheng was arrested at the Bird of Paradise Hotel in Goroka on Monday by police who were providing security for Members of Parliament attending a Pacific conference.
He was alleged to have entered the country on a student visa and tampering with his travel documents.
According to the prosecution, he was working as a supervisor at an amusement centre at the time of his arrest.
Jin was supposed to manage a company in Kimbe but was operating a gaming centre in Goroka instead.
