Sectoral support in league

THE Law and Justice Sector secretariat have come to the rescue of the KB Knights rugby league club with a donation of a new set of jerseys.
The donation, part of the Correctional Service Welfare and Rehabilitation Programme, was presented by the secretariat’s Tony Voss to elated club officials and players at the Correctional Services headquarters yesterday.
Kerepia Baracks Knights are part of the Bomana off-season league and in presenting the jerseys Voss said that LJSP would continue to support such programs because they had a positive impact on communities.
Voss thanked the players and officials for a successfully run off-season competition last year using the gear and equipment donated then. He urged them to keep the same spirit and to compete well in this year’s competition.
