Midfield key for United

By HENRY MORABANG
HEKARI United will bank on its midfield to win their Telikom-sponsored National Soccer League (NSL) game against Madang Fox this weekend at Lloyd Robson Oval in Port Moresby. Despite many sports around the country going into recess, the NSL competition will continue their matches this weekend.
Midfielders David Muta and Eric Komeng are currently in devastating form which could easily help propel
Hekari United to top spot.
Both players were the mainstay behind Hekari’s 1-0 victory over Inspac Rapatona last week, and are looking forward to repeat that against Foxes of Madang this weekend.
Flankers Benjamin Mela and Jack Samani were also equal to the task last week, and coach Jerry Allan expects nothing less from them on Saturday.
United’s striker Kema Jack and Abraham Iniga should have no problem if they are not guarded properly by Madang defenders.
Coach Jerry Allan said he expects his boys to do well against Madang.
He said the victory of Rapatona is well earned as Hekari United boys trained and worked hard for it. They will do the same on Saturday when they line up against Madang.
Madang Fox coach Bob Morris will rely on Adrian Komu to lead the boys against Hekari United.
