Nagle dies in sleep

THE former member for Mul-Baiyer Robert Nagle has died.
Mr Nagle passed away in his home in Port Moresby last Saturday.
Relatives said Mr Nagle had been having problems with his heart. He died in his sleep in his Hohola home.
Mr Nagle, about 50, was elected to Parliament in 1992 and served the people of Mul Baiyer for 10 years.
Portfolios he held while being an MP included Justice and Housing.
Prior to being elected to Parliament, he was a senior accountant with Works Department.
He is survived by his wife and five children. His son Nixon is a capped Kumul player.
Mr Nagle’s body will be flown home for burial in Western Highlands province.
