Baby dies in accident

A SIX-month-old baby was killed in a car accident at Laloki High School along the Sogeri road on Tuesday afternoon, Port Moresby General Hospital staff said yesterday.

And a three-year-old boy with four other passengers were admitted for serious head injuries.
Two others are recovering from minor injuries
These passengers were in a car when it collided into another vehicle from behind.
It is understood that the car that they were in was travelling towards 15-Mile from Port Moresby when it smashed into the vehicle in front of it.
Police could not provide further details.
Three suspects were rounded up and charged last Monday in relation to the murder of a 22-year-old man and the attempted murder of his brother at Joyce Bay settlement in Moresby South.
The incident is alleged to have stemmed from a drunken party involving some intoxicated youths and the two brothers from Gulf province.
During the incident, the younger brother was stabbed to death while the other managed to escape with knife wounds.
