Invest in human resources, Garia

SIMBU has nothing but human resources is a very powerful phrase. In the mountainous, uncompromising topographical region is a glimpse of light.
It is this light that enables the province to participate meaningfully and also secures a place in the national and international community.
We have seen and heard of Simbus holding executive positions, heading some of the largest organisations, and even playing a major role in the development of this nation.
Congratulations Simbu, it has been our achievement and pride. Job well done, keep it up, but remember, it has been the struggles, sacrifices, and tireless efforts of very few individuals who have come the long way to put Simbu up there.
Now, the people of Simbu have come to a stand where there are rarely no more for their new investments in the human resources.
I now make an appeal to the provincial government and Governor Fr Garia to make a favourable investment, like the Bible says planim kaikai lo gutpela graun.
In the last 10 to 15 years, Simbu students who are in the tertiary institutions have been seeking school fees subsidies through the office of governor and the provincial administration but it has been fallen on deaf ears.
Now, I believe you know where you are coming from and where you are going.
Please do the right thing and take some burden off our struggling parents and guardians.
Your tertiary students are your immediate future, the province will depend upon these very students.
They are our hope and future. Once again, I urge you to support your human resources through subsidies of school fees for next year and onwards.
This is a vital investment for the province.
