‘Address issues with head office’

National

COMMUNITY Health Workers (CHW) in Southern Highlands and Hela must call the CHW Association office in Port Moresby regarding any industrial matters, national president Dec Isaac says.
Isaac said that at the moment there were no branch executives for the two provinces so matters must be directed to the association office for clarity and assistance.
Isaac said that the CHWA in Port Moresby was yet to appoint interim executives.
The appointments will be approved by the Industrial Registrar’s office before the executives could exercise their duties.
“For now there is no elected executives nor appointed interim executives in place so any matters regarding CHWs in those two provinces, must be directed to PNG CHWA office in Port Moresby.”
Isaac said any person who acted for the association in the two provinces would be doing so illegally.
