Airline’s services to Hoskins to resume

AIR Niugini’s services into Hoskins airport in West New Britain will resume on Saturday, according to the airline.
It said in a statement the resumption of the Fokker-70 and Fokker-100 aircraft would resume the service in time for the peak travel season, following the completion of maintenance work on the runway.
The F70 and F100 aircraft had not been unable to fly to Hoskins since September because of the work on the runway surface.
Air Niugini’s subsidiary company Link PNG had been operating its Dash-8 aircraft to and from Hoskins.
The F100 and F70 will be operating nine return services weekly between Port Moresby and Hoskins, plus an additional three weekly return services on the route from Port Moresby via Lae and Hoskins to Rabaul.
Air Niugini operates a domestic network from Port Moresby and Lae, and international services in Asia, Oceania, and Australia.
