Authority advises women

THE Mineral Resource Authority have urged the Porgera District Woman Association to be better organised and expand its investments.
MRA project coordinator Joe Ryangao said this while presenting office equipment to the association at the Porgera station to assist in their operation.
Ryangao advised the association members to maintain their good performance to get more assistance from MRA.
“The MRA regulates a lot of other industries so do not always expect help from the MRA. Look after the small things we give and bigger things will follow,” he said.
“You have a good testimony with the MRA. The investment you have with PJV is your baby to look after and let it grow.”
Other organisations in the district are encouraged to work with the association as the MRA only recognise them.
Association interim president Sarah Erasi said the MRA would allow them to extend their operations further into the wards.
