Awareness to stop crime

COMMUNITY leaders along the Miles area in Lae have carried out an awareness to educate youths on the importance of following the law.
The awareness drive was led by the Miles Community Safety Committee and covered the areas from 10-Mile to Two-Mile.
Committee chairman Andrew Kuno told The National that 300 participants, mostly youths and community leaders, carried out the awareness along the Highlands Highway.
The theme “Saying no to crime in miles” aims to persuade youths to stop criminal activities and earn an honest living.
