Black Orchids in town for 7s finale

AS the national rugby 7s championship series draws to a close, the pride of Autonomous Region of Bougainville rugby, Black Orchids, have finalised their 12-man team.
The team left Buka yesterday for Rabaul, spent the night in East New Britain and will arrive today in the nation’s capital, with three days to train before running out to face some of the best 7s teams at the Sir Hubert Murray Stadium on Saturday and Sunday.
Coach Kelly Havara said he was confident his side were ready, as they had been undergoing intense training since last month.
“We will keep our game simple, going back to basics and doing simple things right, everyone has to contribute,” Havara said.
Apart from that men’s, the Black Orchids women’s team have been named as well and will arrive today.  Men’s team: Nathan Baramun, Jimmy Pahia, Duncan Fama, Richard Mongi, Eric Kaiat, Hubert Tseraha, Basil Garana, Hakaria Semoso, Joseph Havara, Jesse Wayne, Carlos Masi and Raymond Vagi. Coach: Kelly Havara; Women’s: Zenia Lopes, Immaculate Rumina, Dorothy Tolom, Albina Gonu, Rachel Togel, Lydia Sakein, Stephanie Dilamur, Fidelcia Semoso, Georgina Irinu, Ivy Sokara, Elmah Tsirumits, Natalie Kiroha; Coach: Ignatius Wama.
