SUBSCRIBERS to bmobile-Vodafone will have access to affordable insurance policy through mobile phones for K3 a month.
The service will make available the Trans Pacific Assurance Limited accidental death protection policy thoughts its partnership with bmobile-Vodafone.
“The product is designed for all users of the bmobile-Vodafone network. Instead of paying an annual premium, you simply pay each month. And the partnership with bmobile-Vodafone will eliminate the barrier of difficulty in making payments,” TPAL managing director Christopher Giddings said.
“We chose bmobile-Vodafone as our partner considering their extensive reach in PNG in terms of network and resellers. It helps to make our service easier to access.”
The policy allows subscribers to pay K3 a month for insurance coverage of K5000 in the event of the subscriber’s death through unnatural causes, Giddings said.
Subscribers can register for the service by dialing *872# on their bmobile-vodafone number and follow the options.
Bmobile-Vodafone group chief executive officer Sundar Ramamurthy said: “We continue to develop products that are easy to use, understand and of exceptional value. We look forward to expanding insurance to all corners of PNG.”
Bmobile-vodafone subscribers aged between 18 and 70 years are eligible to register for the accidental death protection policy.
