Central National Court circuit starts its sitting


THE National Court circuit in Central yesterday started its sittings for October at Bomana in Port Moresby.
Justice Panuel Mogish said the court would continue sittings in other parts of Central.
It will hear cases on October 10 to 15 at Kwikila in Rigo, Bereina in the Kairuku-Hiri electorate and Tapini in Goilala.
The team returns to Bomana on October 17 and to complete other cases.
He said listing for Central and the National Capital District would be mentioned simultaneously.
Mogish said carrying justice to the people was an expensive exercise and that they would try to minimise the cost.
Mogish said he would liaise with the defence force to aid the parties assisting him.
He will also check with the Central Provincial Police Commander about the road conditions in the areas.
Mogish said the court would also carry out awareness on the importance of law and order.
