Christmas signboards a joke

ALLOW me to express my disappointment about the readings in sign boards installed in the middle of roundabouts in Lae city. The signboards have the smiling face of  Morobe Governor Kelly Naru with the message of wishing evryone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, although we are in the second quarter of 2016. This shows that Lae city and Morobe province are still in slumber. I do airport transfers for executives of the company I am attached with and am very annoyed when expatriates are welcomed to Lae with a Christmas greeting at 212 where the first signboard is. They make comments and some even call their families to say they are on Christmas holidays in Lae (PNG). The responsible authorities should come to their senses and change what is making a mockery of us.
