It was also supported by Mt Hagen police, Mt hagen Fire service, Ipili Porgera Investment Transport, Department of Works and the city authority.
Paul said that at the end of the two weeks meeting, the church would place rubbish drums in the city.
He said that a senior preacher from United States Seveth-day Adventist mission Pastor Doug Batchelor would be the guest speaker for the meeting that would prepare the church members for the election period so that they can make good choices in voting and to avoid getting involved in trouble and also strengthen them spiritually in spreadingf the Gospel.
Provincial police commander, Chief Supt Martin Lakari said that police were now enforcing city rules. Lakari said that those found breaking the rules would face the full force of the law unlike in the past.
He said that police did not want to see any littering and street vending and urged the public to support the Seventh-day Adventist mission to live clean and health lifestyles for better health.
He urged people coming into the city to keep the city clean always and follow the rules and regulations of the city.
