Church present bags of rice to prison

INMATES at Bomana Prison were given food and gifts last Sunday by members of the Debeini’s Living Water ministry from Gerehu.
The female inmates received 48 bags of rice and gift bags.
Pastor Peter Solomon handed over the gifts and food to Commanding Officer Superintendent Haraha Kiddy Keko.
“We have been heavily involved in the normal Wednesday prison visitation and other programmes but this night crusade is our first time to participate,” Solomon said.
“When we were invited to come and take part in the crusade, we felt in our hearts that it is one thing to go and preach the gospel and share the word of God and another to offer help in whatever we can.
“Everyone decided to buy bags of rice.
“We also didn’t forget our women so we have 40 parcels of presents in all the bags.”
The crusade started last Friday evening and ended Sunday night. Nearly 60 prisoners surrendered their lives to God.
