AFTER several weeks of pre-season games, the Papua New Guinea Volleyball Federation-sanctioned beach volleyball competition proper season serves-in at the Sir John Guise courts on Sunday.
PNGVF president Kila Dick said matches will be played at the 2015 Pacific Games venue starting at 10am with the Under-15 and U18 men’s and women’s matches followed by the seniors.
Kila said this would be the first time for most of the beach volleyballers to play on these courts.
“We will be using three courts, with two for men’s and one for women’s.
“Our juniors are our future for beach volleyball and most have performed well during the pre-season at Ela Beach courts,” Kila said. “I’m confident that these groups of players will make it to the national level to represent PNG one day.
