THE Building Resilience to Climate Change project has started on its inception missions, according to the Climate Change and Development Authority.
A team from the authority and the Asian Development Bank met with the East New Britain government last week to discuss its implementation in the province.
Authority acting managing director Ruel Yamuna said the purpose of this mission was to confirm that provinces were ready to implement the project in their pilot sites.
The project outputs are to be consistent with provincial climate change priorities. The five pilot provinces are East New Britain, Manus, Milne Bay, Morobe and the Autonomous Region of Bougainville.
