THE human body needs food every day to restore energy and make it healthy and fit to work, a nurse at Port Moresby General Hospital said.
Sr Eunice Laim, a unit manager at the hospital said this when thanking Goodman Fielder and Big Roaster for providing refreshments for nurses and doctors during open heart surgeries on
children with cognitive heart disease.
“Everyone at the theatre is happy for the food donated and thank you for your continued support towards the Operation Open Heart for many years now,” Laim said.
Goodman Fielder marketing assistant, Kathleen Mathias said the company was proud to give food for a worthy cause to assist in saving lives of children and
young adults undergoing heart surgeries at the Port Moresby General Hospital.
