Concern raised over TV advertisement

Letters

CHILD nudity promoted on TV by Softlove disposal nappy seem to be accepted by parents, churches and the Censorship Board as normal.
Their complete silence would be interpreted as “It does not matter”.
The same company is also promoting Softex adult female tampons.
If the Softex advertisements are not going to cause an uproar from parents, women, general public and the Censorship Board, what is the problem?
There is high prevalence of child sexual offences in our courts today. Such indecent advertisements contribute to the ever-increasing statistics of child sexual offences in PNG.
Furthermore, it is believed the company is in violation of the Child Protection Act.
Over to the authorities.
