PEOPLE attending the PNG Mining and Petroleum Investment Conference in Sydney, Australia will have access to all the event’s information through a conference application.
According to the PNG Chamber of Mines and Petroleum, more than 900 delegates and exhibitors will attend the event from December 5 to 7.
The chamber, which has been hosting the conference since early 1990s, said it would introduce the technology called the Event Briefcase.
It will allow delegates to access information on the speakers, session details, exhibitors, sponsors and conference presentations using their smart phones and tablets.
Chamber executive director Greg Anderson said: “This is an exciting addition to the conference format and it is hoped that delegates will enjoy using the new App.”
Delegates registering for the conference would be provided a handbook which contains the necessary log-in details and steps on how to navigate through the App.
