Congratulations Petrus Thomas for winning

Letters

I HEAR Koroba Lake Kopiago (KLK) singing and rejoicing.
Those of mothers, each one singing as trying to give birth in traditional run-down huts, singing of struggling men and women battling the blistering heat of the sun, the beating of the rain and bitter cold working tirelessly to put food on the table, singing of gentle family sitting and staring through dying coals of fire dreaming of the next journey as the golden sun sets on the horizon.
War is something that has a beginning, a middle, and an end.
Politics the same.
When it is over, win or lose, the warring factions lay down their arms and resume their normal lives.
Painful memories surface without reason or design.
Like road signs in reverse as the KLK’s future unwinds now.
Let’s all work towards and let KLK be the dream we always dream of.
Start all over again from where our greats Payale Helo, Sir Andrew Wabiria and Aruru Matiabe has left.
Winning and winners shouldn’t focus on evil, they learned, or on whom to blame.
For the defeated, failure is a stepping stone and an opportunity to prepare for paying in the same coin.
That is how the game of politics being played.
My congratulations to Petrus Nane Thomas for winning the election.
