Conn hails business involvement in PNG Power Ltd

 PORT Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industry chief executive David Conn has welcomed business involvement in PNG Power Ltd.

He said that yesterday after being sworn in as a member of the new PNG Power Ltd board.

Conn said business in the city was one of the biggest users of electricity and it was fitting that it be included on the PPL board.

“Quite frankly, we’ve been one of the strongest critics but that doesn’t mean that we can’t be part of the process to get it fixed,” he said.

“As a business community, the comment is very positive now that the chamber’s involved.”
