Counting venues should be free

Letters

I WOULD like to thank the hard-working security personnel deployed in Hela and Southern Highlands.
Since the provinces are moving into the counting and declarations underway, your tireless efforts are greatly appreciated by the people of Hela and Southern Highlands.
I would like to express great concerns over the counting venue in Mendi.
People all over the province are camping around the counting venue, especially young men from each candidate contesting.
I personally think this type of attitude is not good.
The national government has provided better security under very huge expense and at the same time, it’s very tense for each supporters of candidates camping together.
When such group of supporters of candidates are camped outside of counting venues, things can easily get out of hand.
