THE David and Ethan’s Kona is a distributor of quality children’s wear and accessory from Canada, operating from the Papua New Guinea Women-in-Business trading centre in Waigani.
Petrous Nion, a co-owner of the stall, said the business belonged to his wife.
“But she currently has a fulltime job so I am here helping her out,” he said.
Nion said the stall has wide range of collection for children.
“We have a wide range of collection for kiddies – from the new-born to the three-year-old both male and female.
He said they get their stocks through shipment from Canada.
“Our stocks arrive through shipment from Canada because my elder sister lives in Canada with her husband and their son.
“She buys the stock and ships it here.”
He said the business was named after his sister’s son David who was 10 years old, and his own son Ethan who was five month old.
“So we have both their parents running the business,” he said.
He said children’s clothing was hard to find in Port Moresby.
“We decided to run this kiddies business during the Papua New Guinea Women in Business Expo last month,” he said.
“We are happy with the idea that we have a trading centre.
“We need publicity so that customers can come here.
He said the location is safe and secure for the tourists and locals to do shopping.
“It is safe and secure for tourists and other locals to come and buy items here,” he said.
