A COURT has ordered a charged with stealing K3000 to produce his police bail receipt during his next court appearance.
Magistrate Mekeo Gauli told Caspar Lapande, 50, from Enga, that he must confirm his bail of K500.
Gauli advised Lapande that he was appearing before the committal court which meant that if there was enough evidence against him, he would stand trial in the National Court. If not, he will be discharged.
It is alleged that on August 31, Lapande threatened a tenant at the property and collected K3000.
Lapande is a tenant at the property and runs a trade store. The case will return to court on Oct 10.
