THE number of Pangu Pati MPs in the eastern camp in Goroka, Eastern Highlands, has grown to seven after two more flew in yesterday.
Re-elected Goilala MP William Samb and Nawaeb MP-elect Kennedy Wenge flew to Goroka with party leader and Bulolo member-elect Sam Basil yesterday.
They were accompanied by  Bryan Krammer who is likely to win the Madang open seat.
They were met and welcomed at the airport by MPs-elect Renbo Paita (Finschhafen), Thomas Pelika (Menyamya),   Koni Iguan (Markham) and Dr Kobby Bomareo (Tewai-Siassi).
Basil said the eastern camp was a power-sharing bloc in Goroka mooting support to form the new government.
“My position is clear, I am friend to all and enemy to none,” he said.
“We must not take on the challenge of forming a new PNG government with a weak heart.
“My agenda is very clear.  I want to end Peter O’Neill’s ability to continue ruining our country.”
Basil said O’Neill must not be allowed to make another economic, political or social decision for this country.
He said: “Any coalition formed by Peter O’Neill will continue to silence debate on the floor of Parliament.
“They will continue to spend our money on pointless roads and unused bridges.
“They will continue to use their numerical strength to push legislation that will expand our debt burden.”
