Emperador imports crucial for Tamaraws clash

EMPERADOR imports Chuck Dalanon and Flyod Dedictatoria will be crucial to their team’s chances when they take on the Tamaraws in their PMBL game on Sunday.
Coach Eddie Salazar will be expecting the duo to lead the side over the buffalos in a clash of the two Filipino sides.
Both players should get good support from former PNG representative Joe Elavo and the locals Gerry Holmes, Michael Henry and Esau Horo at the Taurama Aquatic Centre court.
Emperador-Tamaraws over the season have been highly competitive and the weekend’s clash will be no different.
Tamarraws coach Boyat Daroya said his side had drawn some positives from last week’s 99-83 loss to competition leaders Southern Flames.
The Moni Plus sponsored team pushed the defending champions hard over the first three quarters before fading in the fourth quarter.
Daroya admitted that picking a starting five was not straight forward.
“I have problems with some of the key players not attending training which makes it harder for me and get the best five out there and win,” Daroya said.
