Highlands issues need fixing first

Letters

LET me remind the readers, the health secretary and the new government that the issues of the Eastern Highlands’ health authority and Goroka Hospital are not over yet.
This is one of the first issues the new government needs to look into when it settles into office.
The authority has two acting chief executives – Dr Joseph Appa and Dr Max Fewa Manape.
Members of the staff are confused as to who they should report to.
As a result, the hospital and the health authority has no board and the state entity is in chaos.
The Eastern Highlands administrator and the health secretary must sort this mess out.
