Constable Tyrone Toncy said they caught the man under the Kumul Flyover at Erima after he tried to flee early yesterday morning.
The man had rolls of marijuana in his possession. The man told police that he was selling each roll for K5.
Toncy said the drugs may have been smuggled into the city from Tapini in Goilala, Central.
He said people were using many ways to bring drugs into the city and youths were involved in the sale of the contraband which posed major risks for the public.
Toncy said Erima was becoming an ideal area for youths to engage in illegal activities.
He said more police manpower was needed in the suburb to ensure the public’s safety.
