TICKETS for the OFC qualifier between the PNG senior men’s football team Kapuls against Tahiti will be sold starting tomorrow, PNG Football Association vice president John Wesley Gonjuan says.
The game against the French Polynesians is scheduled for March 23 at the Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.
Gonjuan appealed to locals to come in numbers and fill the stadium and provide the home ground advantage.
“The game is a home-game so we would want the stadium to be packed with supporters. The team is organised and managed by PNGFA and represents the four corners of PNG so I urge football supporters throughout the country to purchase a ticket and support live at the stadium.”
Gonjuan said tickets for the game would be sold at Vision City mall with grand stand tickets selling at K50, opposite grand stand tickets will be K30 and the goal post stands will be going for K10.
Gonjuan said a win for the Kapuls next week would mean a lot for the football fraternity in PNG as it bring PNG one step closer to the Fifa World Cup in Russia in 2018.
