Kavieng MP-elect Ian Ling-Stuckey wants the Kavieng District Development Authority to immediately recall all vehicles and boats owned by the DDA to ensure that there is no abuse or destruction of these government assets.
He wants all these assets bought under the former MP Ben Micah to be returned.
“Public confidence must be restored to ensure functions and powers enacted in the DDA Act 2014 are serving the development needs of the people of Kavieng,” Ling-Stuckey said.
“I want the Kavieng DDA to immediately recall all vehicles and boats owned by the DDA to ensure that there is no abuse or destruction of these government assets owned by the people of Kavieng.
“I advised the people of Kavieng that as soon as I was declared as the new member for Kavieng, I would hit the ground running, and that’s exactly what’s happening.
“We mean business.”
