Koki-Wanigela host France U20s

FRANCE coach Gilles Eyquem assured their adopted village, Koki-Wanigela that they would do their best to win the Under-20 Women’s World Cup.
He made the comment while thanking the Moresby South community for hosting them yesterday at the Koki Community Hall.
“I do not know how we will win but we will do our best on Saturday,” Eyquem said.
“Above all, you all have won our hearts with your friendly welcome and hospitality during our stay in Port Moresby for the World Cup.
“You have backed us since we arrived and are still with us till the final on Saturday. We, the team management and the players, are very happy for your support,” he said.
France head of delegation Angelique Caudron, when presenting a gift to the Koki-Wanigela representatives, said it was an incredible adventure to come to play in PNG.
“It is a different culture altogether and we will never forget this trip,” she said.
